When sending in your quilt to be quilted, you must have a backing for
the quilt. The back should be at least 8" wider and longer than the top.
That means we have 4" on each side of the quilt beyond the size of the
top. Batting should also be the same dimensions as the backing, or more
than so we can cut it to size.
If your backing is made up of regular width of fabric (approximately 44"
wide), you must sew the backing using a long seam before sending it to
my studio. There will be an additional charge if I have to prepare your
backing for you.
Once the quilt is finished at the longarm machine, I will call you when your quilt is ready to be mailed back or picked up from my studio.
Unless arrangements are made in advance, quilts will be returned to the customer without binding. Please use the following form to tell me more about your project and I will be in touch to get your project started. Below is a link for information on prepping your quilt top and/or backing for longarm quilting.
